Jenya Emets

CEO & Founder and Herbal Medicine Practitioner

Jenya Emets is the founder, CEO and leading herbalist of Cloud Twelve. Inspiration for Cloud Twelve developed through Jenya’s work and experiences in the field of holistic well-being, and her passion for harnessing the healing power of nature to support the mind and body.

As a professional naturopath with a qualification in herbal medicine from the College of Naturopathic Medicine, Jenya focuses on a holistic approach to wellness, which encompasses emotional, mental and physical health. She believes that everyone’s physiology is unique – influenced by genetic, environmental and social factors – and therefore bespoke herbal preparations and personalised diet work best to correct health imbalances.  

‘Ultimately, by boosting general vitality, restoring digestive capacity and removing toxins we can empower our bodies to overcome most chronic conditions, including mental, reproductive and immunological problems.’

Jenya is an affiliated member of the Association of Master Herbalists and the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners. Her team of accredited naturopaths and professional therapists at Cloud Twelve has been hand-picked to develop continuous yet achievable wellness programmes within a diverse, inclusive and welcoming environment. 

Before becoming a naturopath and an entrepreneur, Jenya spent 17 years in the financial industry; her last role was managing director and head of European quantitative equities at State Street Global Advisors. She brings her managerial skills and investment discipline to the fore of her new business.

In addition to the Diploma in Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine, Jenya holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in economics and Japanese studies, as well as a Teacher’s Diploma in Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement. 

Zhenya Rudman

General Manager

Zhenya has been part of the Cloud Twelve team since its inception, joining as the project director in 2015. Now general manager, Zhenya is responsible for developing and overseeing all aspects of the club’s operations across its spa, salon, wellness clinic, family space and brasserie facilities.

Previously, Zhenya managed a range of residential property developments, both in the UK and overseas. Her experience also includes working with start-up apparel brands, analysing, optimising and developing supply chains and production operations.

In a former role at AMG, Zhenya focused on consultancy services, overseeing international management assessment projects of executive board teams in top-tier financial and telecom institutions. Prior to this, Zhenya was a business developer in a boutique private equity firm, with a focus on the development of the world’s largest biomass (renewable energy) power plant. Zhenya holds a BSc in management and systems from Cass Business School. 

Paolo Di Pierro

Project Manager

Paolo joined Cloud Twelve as project manager and technology officer, responsible for the management and operation of technology infrastructure, marketing and social media strategy.  

Paolo’s career in information technology and project management spans over a decade. At Ericsson, he developed broad-based technical expertise in process flows, supporting digitalisation and innovation. During his eight-year tenure there, Paolo worked as project manager and IT solutions architect, developing process optimisation solutions and software application programming to support its global customer base. 

At Cloud Twelve, Paolo works closely with the management team to ensure the technology infrastructure supports the club’s culture, mission and values. Paolo believes that technology, if managed correctly, can provide effective solutions to reduce a corporation’s environmental footprint. He strives to cultivate solutions to optimise the club’s operations, reduce waste and improve overall business efficiency. He is also involved in supplier selection, ensuring that their products and practices are aligned with Cloud Twelve’s ethics and quality requirements. 

Born and raised in Puglia, Italy, Paolo has a passion for cooking and creating authentic Italian recipes sourced from the simple and abundant produce of his homeland.

Paolo holds a BSc/MSc degree in telecommunications engineering and an Executive Master Certificate in project management, both from the Polytechnic University of Milan. 

Lucy Prew

Family Space Manager

Commencing a career in education in 1997, Lucy initially trained in early childhood and special education, before qualifying as a play therapist, and has remained committed to her passion of child development and good parenting ever since.

Lucy taught and managed education facilities worldwide for more than 20 years, including schools and social care settings in the UK, Europe and the Middle East; then took on senior leadership roles in facilities in the Middle East, Asia and West Africa. Lucy has successfully founded six early years provisions internationally for both private and non-profit organisations that pioneer pre- and postnatal education, and early education.

Lucy has particular expertise in creating immersive curriculums that remain creative and child-led, and empower young children to engage in learning. Lucy looks forward to nurturing a space where parents and children learn together, emphasising children’s understanding of wellness and their responsibility to the environment.

Lucy looks forward to her journey with Cloud Twelve in our inspiring Family Space, where education evolves as our children’s needs develop.

​Sue Morrissey

Spa Manager

Sue originally trained to be a spa therapist in Dublin, Ireland, in 2004 and has had a career in the spa industry ever since. Beginning at the Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin (now InterContinental Dublin), she quickly developed a passion for the industry and worked as a dedicated spa therapist.

Having opened spas for The Ritz-Carlton in Dublin (now Powerscourt Hotel Resort & Spa) and the Corinthia Hotel in London, Sue went on to manage the spa at Grace Belgravia, where she was introduced to the combination of spa and medical wellness treatments.

‘The spa industry is evolving all the time and our clients are more informed than ever. Combining nutrition, wellness and spa practices at Cloud Twelve is a great way to educate and inform our clients. Doing all of this while being mindful of the planet and our community is a fantastic achievement.

Sue is excited to work as part of a club that combines consideration for the environment and carbon footprint with the level of service Cloud Twelve will offer guests. She is looking forward to working with exceptional brands and fantastic therapists and practitioners, in addition to being part of the first plant-based integrated facility in London.

​Abbey Chambers

Salon Manager

Abbey started her career at the Aveda Lifestyle Salon & Spa, Covent Garden, at the age of 18. She was trained in-house under the watchful eye of Aveda’s global creative director Antoinette Beenders, qualifying in three years as a senior stylist. Abbey spent 14 years with the brand, becoming master director for the London flagship salon. Her passion for a holistic approach to hair and beauty grew over her tenure at Aveda, where she worked with high-performance botanically based products that are kind to the planet.

Environmental leadership and responsibility is something I hold dear to my heart and I can’t wait to be part of such a forward-thinking concept right in the heart of London.

​Stu Henshall

Food and Beverage Consultant

Stu Henshall’s food focuses on bringing plant-based cooking to the omnivore’s table. In 2014, he came off the road after 10 years as a touring musician with the likes of The Prodigy, and immersed himself in the culinary world. Appearing on The Great British Bake Off in 2015, he quickly decided that his true calling was to make food solely from the earth, with an obsession for creating delicious food that benefits health and the planet.

Since setting up catering and consultancy company The Alternative Kitchen (thealternativekitchen.net; @thealtkitchen), he has been published in numerous books, magazines, and across his rapidly expanding social network. Stu runs exclusive sell-out supper clubs throughout the UK, offers bespoke catering, guest teaches at various prestigious cookery schools, and works as a food and beverage consultant, developing holistic plant-based food for a number of establishments.

Cloud Twelve is the first permanent home in the UK for his food. Stu manages all this while squeezing in writing a book and helping raise two little ones. He admits he is not so punk rock these days, but gets a similar amount of sleep.  

​Chelsea Seeds

Food and Beverage Manager

Chelsea believes that managing a restaurant isn’t just about good food, it’s about making sure guests feel welcome, valued and enjoy every aspect of the offer, from menu to ambiance and service.

Chelsea started her professional career in 2011 as a football player for Chelsea FC Women’s Academy. As an athlete, nutrition, health and well-being were imperative to her lifestyle in order to maximise performance and, during her time in the team, Chelsea established a foundation for her nutritional knowledge, developing a passion for the food and beverage industry.

Having previously worked in hotels, restaurants and bars from the age of 14, she realised her passion and talent was for food, and retired from football in order to focus on it. Chelsea went on to manage overseas hotels and fresh-produce restaurants, winning multiple awards for her employers, including UK Hotels and Accommodation business of the year, Top 5 of all businesses in Guernsey and Top 100 of all businesses in the British Isles.

Before joining Cloud Twelve, Chelsea relaunched and managed The Skinny Kitchen, a restaurant chain focusing on fitness-based nutrition. There, she furthered her understanding of individual dietary requirements, allergies and lifestyles, and how to adapt menus accordingly to ensure every individual’s needs are met. 

​Eve Kalinik

Nutritional Therapist

Eve wholeheartedly believes that having a healthy attitude and approach to eating well isn’t about unnecessary restriction, but about having an entirely inclusive and diverse food repertoire. A self-confessed ‘gut enthusiast’, she believes that maintaining good gut health is at the core of our health and well-being, and published her first book, Be Good To Your Gut (Piatkus), in September 2017.

‘My passion for nutrition comes from a true love and appreciation of food…I’m a massive foodie.’ 

Eve’s philosophy is that we should all work towards an authentic lifelong positive attitude of eating well. No quick fixes, fads, rules, detoxes or diets, but rather a balanced and functional approach that supports the gut and the body on a deeper level, to increase vitality and a consistent feeling of well-being. Most importantly, not forgetting to enjoy the process of eating.

‘Eating for the soul and connecting joyfully with our food can be just as important as what is on the plate in front of us.’  

Eve considers eating well one of the most empowering things we can do for our health and self-awareness. As such, she frequently hosts interactive workshops, talks and retreats with various media, brands and well-being companies. Alongside this, she writes a monthly nutrition column for Psychologies magazine and, as the resident food guru columnist for matchesfashion.com, tackles various nutrition-related topics that she sees as current, relevant and often very confusing.

She is also a tutor for Guardian Masterclasses, aiming to educate, debunk and demystify a lot of the rhetoric around healthy eating. Eve is a registered member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT).

​Ross J. Barr

Acupuncturist

Ross J. Barr is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and graduate of the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, and over the past decade has earned a reputation as one of the foremost practitioners in his field.

Celebrated for both his warm approach and the outstanding results he achieves, his work is frequently featured in the national press and has made him the acupuncturist of choice in both the fashion and beauty industries.

Having trained in traditional Chinese medicine, he also studied Japanese seitai body therapy under renowned master Tatsuo Nakamura. Ross specialises in five-element acupuncture – the ancient Chinese theory that mind, body and spirit are made up of the five elements: wood, fire, earth, metal and water, and that these creative and controlling energies should be in perfect balance to achieve ultimate well-being. His expertise lies in female and male fertility, as well as grief, stress management and anti-ageing cosmetic acupuncture.

‘It’s an incredible medical system that means every treatment is tailor-made to the individual’s needs. The best results come from treating a person’s whole system, not just the symptoms present. Acupuncture has always been brilliant at treating the root of the problem as well as the manifestation. That way, people get better faster.’

Irka Ebanks

Clinic Manager and Herbal Medicine Practitioner

Irka studied medicine at the University of the West Indies (UWI); both Mona, Jamaica and Nassau, Bahamas campuses. She graduated from UWI in 2013 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree (MBBS). She subsequently worked in Jamaica and The Cayman Islands as a junior medical doctor; the latter at Health City Cayman Islands – a privately run, specialty medical institution which serves local and international clients.

However, she knew there was more to learn about ‘Health & Wellness’ and so, in 2015 she decided to study Herbal Medicine at The College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), London campus; which holds Naturopathic principles at its core.

Irka is passionate about promoting holistic health and believes that wellness is linked in every sense – physical, mental, spiritual and emotional.

Born and raised in The Cayman Islands, a British Overseas Territory which is known for their hospitality and warmth of the people; Irka enjoys getting to know people and interacting at an individual level. This has translated into the approachability and warmth, yet professional demeanour, which is evident in her interaction with clients.

Irka looks forward to her journey with Cloud Twelve and working with the incredible array of practitioners and therapists that are available across all floors of the organisation .

Sanae Baba

Acupunture, Craniosacral, Acupressure, Reflexology

Japanese-born Sanae started her journey in complementary health in 2003. Trained in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, and in craniosacral therapy at the College of Craniosacral Therapy, Sanae specialises in reproductive health, including IFV support, menstrual problems, hormonal disorders, fertility, pregnancy, and postnatal care. However, the scope of her therapy includes musculoskeletal discomfort, such as inflammation and pain, allergies, digestive disorders, depression, anxiety, and stress.

Acupuncture has traditionally been used to help the body restore balance, addressing the root of the disorder and specific symptoms that are unique to the individual. Clinical research has shown that acupuncture causes physical responses in nerve cells, the pituitary gland, and various parts of the brain. These responses can cause the body to release proteins, hormones, and brain chemicals that control a number of bodily functions. In this way, acupuncture can affect a multitude of symptoms, resulting in improved quality of life, and greater control of autoimmune diseases.

Craniosacral therapy, on the other hand, engages with the most profound inherent healing forces within the body, promoting natural motion and rhythmic movements of the cranial bones, sacrum and other tissues and fluids. It is effective for a host of physical and emotional problems, including headaches, breathing difficulties, back pain, and stress. Additionally, mothers and babies often come with problems associated with difficult or traumatic births. Letting go of tension and fear held in the body enables both to settle into calmness. Sanae’s treatments also incorporate a variety of Eastern and Western massage techniques, such as deep-tissue massage, acupressure, and reflexology, enhancing the overall effect by relaxing muscles and improving blood flow and working on additional pressure points.

Sanae is a member of BAcC (British Acupuncture Council), ANP (Association of Naturopathic Practitioners) and CThA (Complementary Therapists Association).

Victoria Cooper

Colonic Hydrotherapist

Victoria Cooper has been a member of the Association of Registered Colon Hydrotherapists (ARCH), the leading professional body for UK hydrotherapists, since 2001.

She began her therapist journey in Cape Town, studying natural modalities with Dr. Rex Johnson. Upon her return to England, she gained her qualification as a healer after a two-year clinical training to standards of the Confederation of Healing Organisations at the SAGB facility, then in London’s Belgrave Square. She continued her studies into all aspects of natural medicine with Dr. Ramses Seleem at the Sia Academy based in London, before focusing upon and undertaking her more detailed and practical training as a colon hydrotherapist with Dr. Milo Siewert.

She has worked at London’s Hale Clinic and EFMedispa.

Victoria was part of the ARCH working group developing National Occupational Standards for colonics, which were finalised in February 2018.

She held the position of Vice-Chair of ARCH from June 2017-June 2018.

Cristabel Barbosa Garcia

Osteopath

Amberin Fur and Associates (AFA) are a bespoke multi-professional lifestyle health care service. We provide a unique, gold standard 360 degrees care program for our clients, this includes Osteopathy, Functional Medicine, Functional Movement, Electromagnetic Consultancy, homeopathy, and non-evasive diagnostics for biomarkers. AFA are an established organisation working in Mayfair.

Cristabel joined AFA Mayfair clinic after 14 years in private practice specialising in family care, pregnancy, paediatrics and performance related injuries with musicians and artistes. She has a special interest in treating children with autism and those with compromised function.  

Her philosophy and treatments have been heavily influenced by her own recovery following a near fatal car crash on completing her BSc in Osteopathic Medicine in 2004, which left her without the use of her right arm and a poor prognosis for recovery. Having persued many modalities as a patient, it was through Osteopathy that her own health and full movement were restored. Cristabel has worked at The Osteopathic Centre for Children where she graduated with a Masters in Paediatric Osteopathy in 2008. Since then she has treated many babies, families and musicians worldwide, always with great care, compassion, and her characteristic enthusiasm.

Cristabel is fascinated by Neuroscience and the mind-body connection. She has worked with many great teachers in this area plus in leadership, transformational coaching and meditation. She combines Osteopathy, Cranial Sacral Osteopathy, Naturopathy, and other forms of bodywork with Naturopathic principles regarding dietary and lifestyle solutions. She can advice on specific stretching & strengthening exercises plus mindfulness and breath-work if desired. All tools to optimise human potential and move us towards total health and wellbeing, our birth right.
