Cloud Twelve in London’s Notting Hill is a haven for kids and adults alike. Say hello to your new hangout, says Jessica Diner.
Qualifying in herbal medicine as naturopath and herbalist whilst working in banking, her aim was to create a space that focused on togetherness. “There are clubs for adults and clubs for kids, but it always tends to be one or the other – nothing that caters to both. So the goal with Cloud Twelve was to create something where no-one’s experience is compromised.”
Unlike other members’ clubs that have strict child-free zones and times, this sanctuary welcomes kids and has gone above and beyond to accommodate them. On arrival, you will find a forest-themed soft-play centre. With breakout interactive play areas, “edu-tainment” classes such as ballet, art, music and mindfulness are a key focus, as is the crèche (with Ofstead-registered minders). You’ll find a plant-based cafe serving all the kids’ food and can even order weaning pots for your little ones that might not have started on solids yet.
