Style: Why I booked in for a 17-step head facial

Sarah Jose visited us to experience the Head Spa as part of her STYLE (The Times) weekly column and also featured us on her social media:

"What happens at a 17-step head facial? Today’s column is a love letter to the humble head massage, and how I have never understood the people I hear say ‘no thank you’ when the add-on is offered during the hair wash stage at the hairdressers. ???? Head spas are cropping up across the UK. They’ve been big business in Japan for a while but they’ve finally made their way here. Yes, it’s maximum pampering but there is some incredible science behind them. I had this treatment at @cloudtwelveclub which was devised with a trichologist to tackle issues such as dandruff, hair thinning and scalp concerns. (I recommend head spas across the nation in the column.)The not so relaxing bit is seeing your scalp on camera before and after the treatment. The build up! The residue! The gunk that lives at our roots… it’s quite incredible how this detox completely clears the debris away. I’ve linked the column in my stories to read more about the rise of the head spa. (Excuse all the strange angles. 17 steps are a lot to film in this position ????) ????????♀️This particular spa uses all @davines_uk hair products.I’m curious to know if this makes you want to go to a head spa, or no thank you?"
